Greg Stawicki
Founder & principal advisor
Greg (Grzegorz) Stawicki has worked in e-mobility since 2012, with a track record spanning electric city buses, special utility vehicles, electric drive distribution, vehicle conversion and full system integration. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Łódź, with earlier engineering training as a mechanics technician.
Since 2022 he has been Research Center Director for E-Mobility and Intelligent Transport at Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering, leading four research groups and a laboratory across zero-emission drive technologies, system integration and software development. Previously he was Project Manager and Business Development lead at Drabpol (2017–2022), where he built partnerships with Dana TM4, Dana OpenECU, ATG Autotechnik and Curtiss-Wright and commercialised electric drives and control software for zero-emission vehicles in Central Europe.
Between Ursus Bus and Drabpol he served as International Sales Director at Dobrowolski (2017), selling special utility vehicles across the DACH, CEE and Baltic markets. Before that he was Head of Sales and Marketing at Ursus Bus (2015–2017), where he helped stand up production capability and the commercial organisation for the Ekovolt and City Smile electric bus families, and Manager of the Bus Division at AMZ Kutno (2012–2015), supervising one of Poland's first electric bus projects.
At Ursus Bus he was part of the team behind Poland's first hydrogen fuel cell electric bus — the City Smile FCEV — from concept and fuel cell/HV architecture definition through to its public debut and demonstration runs with Polish operators. That programme put a Polish-built FCEB on the road years before hydrogen buses became mainstream in Europe, and it still shapes how EV Advisor approaches fuel cell integration, hydrogen storage safety and refuelling planning today.
During his time at Drabpol he personally initiated and negotiated the company's cooperation with the technology suppliers behind zero-emission drivelines — TM4 Inc. and Dana Arzignano on electric motors and inverters, Dana OpenECU on embedded control and functional safety, the Curtiss-Wright industrial group on power distribution and drive electronics, Rational Motion on drive integration and ATG Autotechnik on articulation systems for articulated buses. He set up each partnership from first contact through technical qualification, homologation support, certified training and joint commercialisation in Central and Eastern Europe.
